The impossibly beautiful blue stretched onward and upward, into exponential heights. Comfortingly wide islands of white sand peeked out of the shallow pools, and slowly moved about. I was a glimmer in the surreal pristineness of it all, alone in the terrible perfection of endless shores, and the shell of light was, really, forever. These echoes of mine refracted through the crystal fragility below, through the unknowable monstrosity of solidness and density that circled in the sky, the cold shivers of luminescence glittering and mushrooming all around the concrete mass spinning indifferently. I could cover the entirety of an ocean with a swipe of my distorted hand.
